Our first Concern debate takes place on Thursday October 24th in Carrigaline against Edmund Rice College. The motion up for debate is “Nuclear power is essential for a clean energy future”. Our tem will oppose this motion. Team members include Sinead O Donovan, Anne Ngwenya, Orla Callaghan and Biola Folorunso .All TY students (and any other year) are very welcome to meet at lunchtime to help with research etc. Any student interested in travelling to the debate please contact Ms Harte.

Unfortunately, Edmund Rice College had to postpone this debate. It will now be held on Thursday, November 7th.

Our next debate will take place on Thursday November 14th. The motion for this debate ,which we will propose is " The E.U. needs an army” Any ideas on this motion would be very welcome.
