Board of Management
The School is managed by a Board as defined in the Articles of Management of Secondary Schools. They have statutory recognition under the Education Act 1998.
The composition of the Board of management is as follows:
4 Nominees of the Trustees - James Moloney, Anne Dorgan, Donagh O’ Mahony, Catherine O’ Connor (Chairperson)
2 Nominees of the Parents (elected) - Raymond Kelleher, Una Wilson Good
2 Nominees of the Teaching Staff (elected). Aine Flanagan, Jennifer Harrington
The Principal acts as Secretary and is not a member. (Ann Marie Brosnan)
The Deputy Principal acts as recording secretary (Brendan Walsh)
The term of office of a Board of Management is three years and expires on the 14th October in the third year after the Board was constituted. The Chairperson is nominated by the Trustees and ratified by the Board at its first meeting. The Board meets regularly.
