At a gala function at the West Cork Hotel in Skibbereen, Sacred Heart Secondary School students Amy Sexton, 6th year and Wiktoria Karcz, 2nd year, received Garda Youth Awards. Joined by family and friends, the students were acknowledged for their volunteerism and activism in their communities and school as well as being commended for their bravery in the face of adversity.
Amy and Wiktoria were delighted to accept their beautifully appointed glassware from Chief superintendent Con Cadogan.
