Law Day for TY students at Sacred Heart

Law Day

Fourth Years had “Law Day” on Wednesday 8th November.

 Law Day involved 3 barristers coming to the school to talk about the Legal System and about what is involved in the work of a solicitor and/ or barrister.

They taught us about the different types of Courts and different types of crimes you could commit, and at the end of the day we staged a court case with defendants, prosecutors, witnesses and a Judge.

 It was a very interesting and enjoyable day and we learned a lot about the legal system that we never knew before.
