Advent in Sacred Heart

Students who are participating in the John Paul Awards were busy during lunch break preparing advent wreaths for our prayer room, re room and sacred space. The theme for Advent this year in our school is- kindness. Advent is typically a time of waiting and preparation to welcome Jesus into our hearts. Our theme reminds us to reach out to others, to be compassionate at home & in school, to respect, to include  and always welcome people into our hearts
