TY Students participate in European Youth Parliament

Over the weekend of the 23rd of February, TY students Katie Kiely, Fodhla Daly, Sonja Murphy and Kate Quinlan attended the Munster Regional session of European youth parliament in Christian Brothers College, Cork. Over the weekend, committees were posed with an issue related to the EU and were posed with the task of writing a resolution for said problem. Committee topics ranged from Brexit, Artificial Intelligence, Doping allegations and unregistered warfare. The committees then presented their solutions at the General Assembly on Sunday, where a vote was passed on each resolution.
