Both 1st Year Camogie Teams record wins!

The 1st year camogie teams had two excellent victories today over Coachford in the 1st year leagues.

The First Year ‘A’ team won on a final score of 6-3 to 1-1. All the girls played their part with the scores coming from Aoife O’ Flynn Meade 2-0, Kate Nolan 1-2, Ellen O Riordan 1-1, Amy Mc Carthy 1-0 and Aoife Whelton 1-0. 

The Sacred Heart backs were outstanding all through the game with Anna Meade, Nicole Sweetnam and Orla Whelton immense in the full back line in front of the ultra reliable Grave Nyhan.

The Second team under the Management of Roisin Dullea, Ashley O Donovan and Isobel Ichu also recorded a comprehensive victory over their mid cork rivals on a scoreline of 6–2 to 0-0. 

It was a most enjoyable days sport for the girls in glorious sunshine at Ahamilla.
