1st years learn about banking

On Wednesday morning, a group of 1st year Business Studies students paid a visit to the local AIB Bank in Clonakilty. The girls met with the staff in the branch on arrival and were given an insight into what their roles and duties consist of. They were then treated to a tour of the branch. During the tour, the girls were shown how to use the facilities and services that are available to the public outside the counter including lodging and withdrawing money. They then got the opportunity to see the different security safes behind the counter as well as where each individual Bank Account file is kept.
