Leaving Cert Art Students' Response to Wearing Masks

The Leaving Cert Art students drew charcoal and chalk portraits earlier this month as a response to the wearing of masks in school. Inspired by the changing face of school life, they created these beautiful pieces of art which are now exhibited along the corridors of the old school. As T.S. Eliot wrote, 'there will be time to prepare a face to meet the faces that you meet’. In this current climate, this preparation includes putting on a face covering in our continuous efforts to stay safe. Well done to Ms O Connell and her students for this excellent reflection of the times we live in.
