First up in our Player Profile segment is winner of County Intermediate medal yesterday with Ballinascarthy camogie, Amber Bishop.

Honours & Awards:

Cork Camogie: u16 Munster 2025. U15 All Ireland 2024

Ballinascarthy: U14 County and have, Intermediate County camogie final this Sunday V Sliabh Rua, h’on Bal.

Inspiration & influences: Cork Seniors. The team inspires me with their dedication and serious level of skill. Delighted to play and train in Bal with Millie Condon who is on that team. I’m always looking to learn from her on where I can improve.

Routines and rituals: Before a game i would eat a good meal two hours before and definitely get a good sleep routine in the days leading up to the game. Sleeping is an underrated activity!!

Hobbies and interests: Soccer fan, I also enjoy horseriding and walking. Anything in nature really.

If there was a transfer market in camogie I’d sign: Cliona Harte, all round quality, great touch, strikes off left and right equally as good; that’s if you can see her, she moves so fast!!!

Memorable moments: The All Ireland u16 Final v Galway, even though we lost the game. It was cool being involved in such an occasion and I want to get back there again and win next time!
