Guidance Department Highlights: UCC Visit & MTU Open Day
It has been another productive and engaging week for the Guidance Department at SHSS.
On Thursday, 13 November, we were delighted to welcome John-Philip O’Connor, Recruitment Project Officer from UCC’s College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences. He delivered an informative presentation outlining the wide range of programmes available, from Arts to Applied Psychology. JP also shared insights into graduate pathways and student life at UCC, and he answered a variety of thoughtful questions from our senior students.
The following day, Friday 14 November, thirty sixth-year students attended the MTU Open Day. Students took part in course talks, explored laboratories and lecture halls, and gained valuable first-hand experience of campus life and the opportunities MTU offers.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ms Sexton and Ms Crowley for organising and supervising these important events, which continue to support our students in making informed decisions about their future pathways.
