SHSS Students Partake in Annual Schools Road Bowling Competition, Shannonvale

A number of Sacred Heart Students took part in the annual schools Road Bowling competition in Shannonvale yesterday. The competition format involves a team of three, throwing 18 alternate shots and the total distance covered, is recorded to adjudge the winners.

9 SHSS teams took part and the Senior Ladies team of Eimear Whelton, Laura Sexton and Louise Coleman took the runners up spot in their category having covered 1737metres.

A very enjoyable day for the girls partaking in one of Ireland oldest sports.
