Exploring New Horizons: TY Visit the National Maritime College of Ireland

Our students had an insightful day at the National Maritime College of Ireland open day!

They had the chance to:
Watch an incredible helicopter escape training demo (in a pool that makes real waves!)
Take the helm in the bridge simulator and navigate the seas
Explore the chart room like true mariners
And step inside the engine room simulator to see how it all works below deck

It was also wonderful to meet past pupil Danielle Hayes, who now works for Dublin Port.

A huge thanks to everyone at the NMCI and MTU for such an inspiring and eye-opening experience!
