Senior Cycle Modern Language Students at the 70th Cork International Film Festival
Senior Cycle Modern Language students had the wonderful opportunity to attend the 70th Cork International Film Festival today at the Arc Cinema. This annual event celebrates global cinema and offers students a unique cultural and linguistic experience.
Our French group enjoyed the moving and beautifully crafted film En Fanfare, while the German group viewed Eins zu Zwei, an engaging comedy inspired by a true story. Both films provided students with authentic exposure to language in context, enriching not only their appreciation of film but also their understanding of French and German culture.
The outing was an enjoyable and educational experience for all involved.
A sincere thanks to Ms. Bell, Ms. O’Regan, Ms. Meade, Ms. Nash, and especially to Ms. O’Flynn for organising this memorable trip.
