Celebrating Our Languages: 4.D’s Clay “Welcome” Project

The students of 4.D are currently working on a creative and meaningful art project with Ms O’ Connell that celebrates the rich diversity of languages spoken within our school community. Each student is designing and crafting a clay relief plaque featuring the word “welcome” in one of the many languages represented in our student body.

Using clay techniques to create raised lettering and decorative detail, the class is combining artistic skill with cultural appreciation. Once completed, the plaques will be fired and glazed before being proudly displayed around the school.

This wonderful initiative not only showcases the artistic talents of 4.D but also highlights the inclusive and welcoming spirit of our school.
