Tee-rific Day Out at Clonakilty Golf Club

A group of our students recently enjoyed a fantastic “Get into Golf” visit to Clonakilty Golf Club, where they received a warm welcome from Martin, Elaine, Anne, Joan, Clair, Maeve, and Kerry.

The day was excellently organised, offering a range of fun and engaging activities focused on key golfing skills such as putting, chipping, and driving. Each session was carefully designed to be accessible and enjoyable, ensuring that all students had the opportunity to build confidence while learning the fundamentals of the game.

Accompanied by their teachers, Ms Sexton and Ms Byrdziak, the group fully embraced the experience. The weather added to the occasion, with bright sunshine throughout the day creating a truly enjoyable atmosphere.

Following an active and rewarding session, students were kindly treated to refreshments, providing the perfect end to a memorable outing. Overall, the visit was a highly positive introduction to golf, with many students leaving inspired to continue exploring the sport in the future.
