Celebrating a Remarkable Year of Sporting Success at SHSS Clonakilty

Our whole-school assembly today was a wonderful celebration of an outstanding year for sport in SHSS Clonakilty. Students and staff came together to recognise the dedication, teamwork and achievements of our athletes across a range of competitions throughout the year.

Congratulations to our:

  • Junior Camogie team on winning the County title

  • Minor Football team on winning the Cork West Final

  • First Year Football team on their successful Blitz campaign

  • Senior Rugby team on becoming Munster Champions

We are incredibly proud of every student who represented the school with such commitment, determination and sportsmanship throughout the season.

A sincere thank you also goes to everyone working behind the scenes and to all those who continue to support and encourage our young athletes.

Special thanks to Ms. McCarthy, Mr. Daly and Mr. Phelan for their dedication, coaching and encouragement throughout the year.

We look forward to building on this success and continuing to promote and celebrate girls sport in SHSS Clonakilty in the years ahead.
