Together We Journeyed - Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony

Last Thursday evening, the Sacred Heart Secondary School community gathered to celebrate the graduation of our wonderful 6th Year students, the Class of 2026. The theme of the ceremony, “Together We Journeyed,” was a beautiful reflection of the friendships, growth, achievements and memories shared throughout the girls’ six-year journey in Sacred Heart.

It was a beautifully organised evening filled with prayer, celebration, music, speeches and togetherness. Students, staff, parents and guardians came together to mark this important milestone and to celebrate the many accomplishments of the graduating class.

We would like to sincerely thank each and every student for their participation, positivity and contribution to school life during their time with us in Sacred Heart over the past six years. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and wish them every success and happiness as they begin the next chapter of their journey.

A huge thank you to Ms. Harrington and Ms. O’Riordan for their dedication, organisation and liaison with students in creating such a memorable and meaningful evening for all involved.

A special word of thanks to Ms. Bell for being the girls’ tutor this year, for her constant support, guidance and mentorship throughout the year. We also thank Ms. Bell for organising the lovely graduation celebrations in school, which added greatly to the joy and spirit of the occasion.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Music Department, especially Ms. Hayes and Mr. Browne, for ensuring the music throughout the ceremony ran so smoothly. Thank you also to the 6th Year Music class and choir for their beautiful musical contributions, which added so much to the atmosphere of the evening.

A special thank you to Emilia Futyma for designing the beautiful Mass brochure, which was a lovely keepsake for the occasion.

We would also like to thank Ms. Brosnan for delivering a heartfelt, heartwarming and inspiring final address that resonated with students, parents and staff alike.

Finally, we extend our gratitude to Father Martin for leading the beautiful graduation service, and to all parents and guardians for joining us and sharing in this special occasion.

Congratulations once again to the Class of 2026 - may the memories of your time in Sacred Heart remain with you always.
