The annual Sacred Heart Secondary School year mass took place on Tuesday the 19th of September 2017 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty.

We invite all parents and guardians to join with us in celebrating our opening of the school year Mass in the Parish Church on Tuesday 19th September at 2.15pm 

On Tuesday last, September 12th, the now annual Cycle Against Suicide Ambassador School Awards ceremony was held at the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham. These awards recognised the immense efforts of 89 schools around the island of Ireland who have completed the Ambassador School Programme, and became actively involved in mental health promotion

Inviting all parents & guardians to attend the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Parents' Association on Wednesday 20th at 7.30pm 

The tys went to a transition year exhibition in Punchestown, this was a very exciting day where they experienced what they can achieve in ty!

After the long wait, the Junior Cert results finally arrived for the girls of Sacred Heart.

Students from the Sacred Heart TY Class of 2016-2017 collected an award for their participation in the Cycle Against Suicide yesterday.

Congratulation and well done to Laura Walsh who was named as joint winner of the Inaugural  Richard Burke TY Personified Award 2017. Laura was one of eight Transition Year students short listed for the award. The result was announced at the Transition Year Expo in Punchestown this afternoon.  

Transition Year students travelled to Punchestown today to attend the Transition Year Expo. They were accompanied by Ms Harte, Ms Collins & Mr Bradley

We invite all parents/guardians of 1st year students to attend an information evening on Tuesday 12th September at 6.30pm. Please being your daughter's school  journal to the meeting. 

Supervised study starts on Monday 11th of September until October 26th.

Time 4.15pm to 6.15pm on Mondays and Tuesdays/ 3.45pm to 5.45pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Well done to the double winning ladies football and camogie teams who secured victories in the West Cork and County Championships!

Well done to 1st year student, Victoria Lukasky her Art work will feature on the new West Cork Mobile Library Van.

The West Cork Mobile Library will be launched by the Mayor of County Cork. CLLr. Declan Hurley at the Parkway Hotel Dunmanway on Friday 1st September

Sacred Heart art teacher, Judy O’ Connell is exhibiting her ‘Herbivore’ series at Kate Fitzgerald’s ‘The Loft Gallery’,  in Clonakilty until September 9th 2017. It is her first solo show and is based on her love of flora – foliage, flowers, fruit, seeds and stems.

Well done to all the students of Sacred Heart involved in the All-Ireland Coastal Rowing championships in Donegal. The girls came home with a haul of medals!

Congratulation to Leaving Certificate student Ciara Ryan who was a member of the Cork Ladies All Ireland minor team that won the All Ireland title recently. Ciara is a very talented football and camogie player and has represented her school and county in both codes. 

Congratulation and well done to Hannah Sexton who retained her u16 All Ireland Road Bowling title.

Best of Luck to Niamh O'Sullivan, a past pupil off Sacred Heart, in the Rose of Tralee 2017. Niamh represents  New Zealand in this years competition.

Congratulations to all our Leaving Cert Students on the excellent Leaving Cert Results. Well done from all at Sacred Heart. Best wishes now in the CAO offers on Monday!
