Develop Me Workshop

All Transition Year students attended a “Develop Me “ Workshops on Tuesday November 9th ,and Wednesday November 10th.

“Develop Me” specialises in bringing the highest quality experiential learning training into the secondary school classroom. Through experiential learning these workshops focus on two critical areas for today’s students: project management and understanding effective teamwork. This is what students had to say :

Thuylane Labiche

During this workshop we learned the importance of teamwork. This day perfectly illustrated the quote "alone we go faster, together we go further".

Ewa Gomola

I really enjoyed the workshop , it was nice to have a break from classes and still do something that involves working together and having fun . My favourite part was the structure building ….I really liked the way we had to compete against the other class it made it more fun. I also enjoyed the Gold Mine activity because the whole class was involved and we all helped each other win. It was a very fun day and I would do it again .

Aoife Godwin Coombs

I feel this was a great activity, as it provoked action on both theoretical and practical strategies, as well as teaching us to use teamwork to get the best outcome we could as a class

Ciara Bennett
