IMMA: Exploring Contemporary Art — 5th & 6th Year Trip

Our 5th and 6th Year Art students visited the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) to deepen their understanding of contemporary art and visual studies. Throughout the visit, students engaged directly with original artworks, explored a variety of artistic approaches, and took part in guided discussions that encouraged critical thinking and personal response. The trip supported the Senior Cycle Art curriculum by connecting classroom learning to real-world gallery practice, allowing students to analyse artworks in context and gather inspiration for their own practical and written work.
