From West Cork to The Hague: Eva Kordic’s Big Moment

Everyone at SHSS is delighted to congratulate 5th Year student Eva Kordic on her recent call-up to the Croatian U19 National Hockey Team.

Eva, a highly talented goalkeeper, has shown outstanding dedication and skill in her sport over a number of years. Having moved from Croatia to Clonakilty in 2015, Eva has become a valued member of our school community, and it is wonderful to see her now representing her home country on the international stage.

Over the Easter break, Eva travelled to The Hague in Netherlands to compete in the JIPHT Tournament. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to her hard work, commitment, and passion for hockey.

We are incredibly proud of Eva and wish her every success as she continues her journey with the Croatian U19 team.
