Flying High at the Annual Junior Cycle High Jump Competition

There was great excitement and impressive athletic talent on display today at our Annual Junior Cycle High Jump Competition. Students from across the junior cycle gave it their all, cheering each other on and showing fantastic determination, sportsmanship, and school spirit throughout the event.

A huge congratulations to all of our year-group champions:

  • First Year: Erin Coppinger

  • Second Year: Aoife Harte

  • Third Year: Scarlet O’ Mahony

Special congratulations go to Aoife Harte, who was crowned the overall winner after an incredible jump of 1.35 metres - a brilliant achievement!

Well done to every student who participated and made the competition such an enjoyable and energetic occasion. A sincere thank you also to the PE Department and Ms O’Flynn for all their hard work in organising another fantastic school sporting event.
