A Wonderful Evening Celebrating Transition Year Graduation
Our Transition Year Graduation was a beautiful occasion celebrating the end of a memorable and successful year for our TY students. Families, staff, and students gathered together to reflect on the many achievements, experiences, and friendships formed throughout the year.
The evening featured wonderful performances from this year’s show cast, alongside beautiful piano music by Fia O’Connell and musical performances from Joanne O’Brien and Grace De Long, creating a truly special atmosphere for all in attendance.
We were delighted to welcome past pupil Clionadh Condon as our guest speaker for the evening, who also presented the annual TY Portfolio Awards. The annual Frank Toner Award, a creative writing essay competition in TY, was presented to Rehma Sami by Ms Harte.
A heartfelt speech was delivered by Abbie Newman, thanking Ms Harte for all of her hard work, dedication, and care shown to the students throughout the year.
Special gifts were also presented to each of the TY class tutors - Ms Crowley, Mr Browne, Ms Shanahan, and Ms Hennessy - in appreciation of the guidance, support, and encouragement they provided to their groups over the course of the year.
It was a wonderful evening filled with celebration, gratitude, music, and memories, and a fitting way to mark the end of an unforgettable Transition Year journey.
