TY students particpate in Hockey Leaders

At the beginning of the week, 27 of our enthusiastic transition year students participated in the Young Hockey Leader course. Through the stewardship and mentoring of Brendan Woods, Hockey Ireland, the girls learned the essential qualities and skills of what it is to be a good coach and leader. The course was four hours, combining both theory and play on the pitch. They now have the knowledge and confidence to assist in coaching younger age groups and look forward to getting involved at both school and club level. Go n-éirí libh a chailíní!
