Transition year students enjoyed an amazing fun filled action packed Activity week.

In January, four Transition Year students, Elen Lawlor, Sarah Walsh, Abbie Collins and Louise Harte were given the opportunity to go to a Maths Experience Week in UCC.

they  came 2nd in the Phys Slam competition organised by the Psychology department in UCC on Wednesday 8th February.

Twenty schools competed in this competition.

Safer Internet Use Day

TY activity week got off to a start on Monday 07-02-17 with a Business Morning organised by the Business Dept. in the school. Guest Judges were Eugene Scally of Super Value, Mike O' Neill of Fernhill House Hotel, and Geraldine Galvin of Bank of Ireland. The theme for the morning was "Clonakilty, A Way of Life on the Wild Atlantic Way".

Congratulations to Niamh Kirby who performed an Ed Sheeran number on the Ray D'Arcy show on Saturday night last. 

6th Year Chemistry students received a Spectroscopy Chemistry Workshop from Post Doctoral students from UCC in the schools Chemistry lab recently.

To mark the Feast of St Brigid & Catholic Schools Week all second year students attended Mass in the parish church of the Immaculate Conception Clonakilty.
