West Cork Rapid Response

Rapid Response: Lifesaving Care for West Cork

A big Thank you to Members of the West Cork Rapid Response who visited Sacred Heart on Thursday, October 16th. West Cork Rapid Response is a volunteer-based organization providing critical emergency medical care across West Cork. Working alongside the National Ambulance Service, our advanced medical interventions bridge the gap between emergency calls and hospital care, often making a life-saving difference.

Dr Jason van der Velde Christmas, in conjunction with the Gardaí, Red Cross, National Ambulance Service and local paramedics will return to Sacred Heart early in the New Year to make further important presentations to our TY Students.

Thanks to Kate Crowley of West Cork Rapid Response for organising the event, along with Betty Hennessy and Liam Slattery (WCRR members) who also addressed our students during this first visit.

Dr Jason van der Velde Christmas, in conjunction with the Gardaí, Red Cross, National Ambulance Service and local paramedics, particularly aimed at TY students.

To initiate this, I am happy to visit your school with Betty Hennessy and Liam Slattery (WCRR members),
