TY Trip to Killary

Adventure Begins at Killary

Our Transition Year students travelled to the Killary Outdoor Pursuit Centre on Monday May 11th for the Annual TY Outdoor Activity Trip.

Sweeping down to the fjord through ancient woodland with spectacular mountains, and coastal scenery all around Killary is a place like no other. Located on the scenic Killary Fjord in Connemara,this Centre offers a range of outdoor activities designed to challenge students ,and encourage teamwork, resilience, and personal growth. School trips  to Killary focus on providing a fun and safe environment for children to develop new skills and have memorable experiences.

The hugely popular TY residential activity programmes  at Kilary are designed to encourage friendship, and team spirit, as well as offering challenges, and the opportunity to learn new skills. This type of programme is an ideal way for students to bond together during their Transition Year. Thanks to our Staff members , Mr Phelan, Mr Mahon and SNA Clare who accompanied the Girls.All had a very Active, and Fun trip.
